Nothing would be more tiresome than eating and drinking if God had not made them a pleasure as well as a necessity ~ Voltaire

microhood by design dinner

tonight, the bold italic and stag dining group presented the microhood by design dinner in hayes valley.  i attended the event with only one other sf foodie because the event was sold out.  (i think i might have got the last ticket!  maybe shoulda buy lottery, eh!?)  they made the event a little interesting by not telling us the exact location of this dinner until this morning.  yup, the location was actually announced in an earlier email.  so secretive!  i was somewhat skeptical about the food since i have never been to any of their events.  not to mention i almost didn't make it to dinner...  well, let's just said i am glad i did...  the food were absolutely delicious!  the dinner also included cocktails by cocktail lab and wine pairings by twomile.  i will definitely attend their future events!
