as someone who loves to eat... when i got the 411 about some guy named travis cook will be using this little shy of a month old dive-y bar, the unresolved love life of evelyn lee as his test kitchen debuting today... i told myself, hey, i gotta go check it out! this pop-up takes place at this like a mysterious novel or soap opera sounded bar every thursday from 7-10pm... looks like every week there will be three items on the menu and only 30 of each... so, if you really wanna try, you should probably get there early... when i got to the bar tonight, there was a table setup on the side... people were lining up and i did the same patiently... tonight's menu were "asparagus, pork, shrimp"... plain and simple... i got all three of them! the portions are quiet small so don't expect it to fill your tummy... but, rather think of it as an interesting experience!
