it's vacay time!

man, it's raining like cats and dogs just when i am about to leave home for the airport!  just my luck, eh...  despite the ugly weather and crazy cabbie (as always), i made it to the airport on time for my vacay...  yay~  taipei and shanghai, here i come!!!!!  right now i am just chillin' at china airlines' dynasty lounge with some snacks...  alrighty, almost time to board...  see y'all in taipei!

bad news...

why am i hearing bad news again?!  my god daughter back in vancouver is in the emergency room...  i just talked to my friend and apparently the poor girl passed out this morning for no reason...  i really hope the doctor can find out why and it's not something serious...  even being a god mommy i feel totally helpless and sad...  i can't imagine as a parent, what my friend is going through right now...  please let the little girl be well and healthy!!!

life...

today i learned the news that my best friend's dad was hit by a car and is currently in the intensive care unit...  my prayers and thoughts are with you at this time, girl...  *hugs*  things like this is a constant reminder of how unpredictable life really is...  we never know what's gonna happen next so we should cherish what we have now...  always love those around you, be thankful and not take things for granted!  i know, it's always easier to said than done...  but, we should remind ourselves from time to time how precious life is and how everyday is a miracle!

no matter how much you like/love some things, there just might be a time you need to part with them...  even though you know it's inevitable, it's still sad...  *sigh*

hiatus...

yup, i took another long hiatus...  :)  and, it's time to get back on the saddle!
